I finally made it to this place in San Marco. This spot is a hidden gem! The food was fantastic. We had different kinds of oysters and they were incredibly fresh and flavorful! They have a range of non-alcoholic drinks, so we all indulged in some fancy drinks. We had three appetizers and main dishes to share, and all of them were absolutely incredible! Their presentation was so elegant, it felt like we were dining at a Michelin-starred restaurant. And let’s not forget about their desserts! You absolutely must try them. The homemade ice cream and chocolate crisps were the stars of the show! They looked like real caviar in a can! It was a delightful chocolate dessert that we all loved. I’m not a chocolate girl, so I really enjoyed the lemon bread pudding with blueberry. It was definitely my favorite! If you don’t like too much sweet, they have sorbet with champagne . This was such a refreshing treat. I think they change their menu occasionally to reflect the seasons so you should always ask them about special seasonal menu. Anyway, hands down! one of my best dining experiences in Jacksonville lately. Don't miss out on their "$2 Oysters" every Tuesday! Although they take walk-ins, I think reservations are a must I highly recommend it to anyone who loves seafood.

Absolutely awesome experience at this establishment. We went to Brine at the end of our trip to Jacksonville and it really was the highlight of the trip for me. I very rarely write reviews but it was excellent, the ambience, staff and food was 10/10. Highly recommend.

Had an incredible dining experience at Brine Jax! From the moment we sat down, our server Jake made us feel welcome. He was friendly, attentive, and extremely knowledgeable about the menu. Every dish we tried was absolutely delicious, with beautiful presentation that matched the flavors. The caviar and oysters were exceptionally fresh, and the lobster carbonara was simply outstanding — rich, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. This place is a must visit for anyone who appreciates top quality seafood and thoughtful service. Highly recommend!

I can’t stop thinking about how special this dining experience was, every detail felt so well thought out, and the entire night was truly amazing from start to finish. We ordered the Surf and Turf for two, and let me tell you ..1000/10. The short rib was tender, flavorful, and absolutely delightful, but that LOBSTER GRATIN… words haven’t even been invented to do it justice. Truly a masterpiece. And the drinks? Perfect. Our server made the best recommendations, so good that I ended up having two! I’m honestly kicking myself for waiting this long to write this review because I’ve forgotten her name, but she was phenomenal. Her warmth and attentiveness made the night even more memorable. My husband and I are already planning to come back to try the tasting menu because we can’t wait to experience more. If you haven’t been here yet, you must go. Everything was worth every single dollar spent. I know I’m probably forgetting to mention a few things we had, but only because I’m still buzzing about how incredible the whole experience was. Don’t hesitate JUST GO! You’ll thank yourself later.

Last night, my husband and I had a reservation at 7:30 at Brine for a date night. I had originally made the reservation for the courtyard, but was able to call and get it changed to the dining room with ease, since my husband spent all day working outside. We showed up right after 7:00 and were immediately seated at a table inside. There were three two top tables, and one larger booth. Our server (I forget her name but I think it started with a C/K) was attentive and knowledgeable. We were started off with glasses of tap water and we both ordered the nonalcoholic margarita. We started with a mixed dozen oysters and ordered the surf and turf for 2. Everything tasted amazing. During our date night there, a typical Jacksonville thunderstorm rolled through and it started thundering, lightning, and pouring pretty heavily. One of the staff members (female, sleeve tattooed arm) was assisting staff one by one to and from the courtyard tent with an umbrella while she was getting soaked with rain. What service! By far one of the best dining experiences my husband (a local) and I have had in Jacksonville. We can’t wait to be back!

Food and service were exceptional - although I don’t recommend the short rib, was very fatty and not shredded. Can’t go higher than a 3 for atmosphere. Feels like a pop up. Restaurant is a tiny little corridor, a bunch of tables under a tent outside. Maybe they didn’t want to wait until everything was fully done to start? Was a bit odd

Let me start by saying my choice to visit Brine was a phenomenal way to end my week in the San Marco area of Jacksonville, Florida! I found this hidden gem while searching for a restaurant for fresh fish. I am so pleased to say the search led me to the perfect place. The service was excellent and all of the staff were gracious and kind. The wait staff was fully knowledgeable about the offerings for the evening, as well as wine pairings. It was truly a pleasure talking with them throughout my dining experience and hearing the recommendations of my server Colette. The food was extraordinary with everything prepared to order using the freshest and cleanest ingredients. The evening was perfect for fine dining outside in a cozy little area. I ended my dining experience with the most delicious cheesecake bread pudding for dessert, and would have returned for more if I had the time! I highly recommend Brine Oysters Champagne Caviar!
